Jr. Business Development Manager

General description

Media Distillery plans to expand in other markets and regions. You will be the first touch point for our company in such regions and with potential new markets. You will work in a structured way to identify opportunities and develop them into a lead that is in our sales funnel. Our customers are large enterprises, sales cycles are long and deals are sizable. Therefore filling our sales funnel is critical for long term success and continuous growth.

What you’ll do

  • Analyse, validate and develop new markets and opportunities, in identified specific markets, all over the world
  • Reach out by email, phone and any other means to potential new prospects and don’t let go until you found the right contact person and scheduled a meeting
  • Assist the CEO and Business Development Manager with meeting preparations, creating offers and other relevant materials
  • Prepare for events and conferences Media Distillery is sponsoring or speaking at
  • Interact with existing customers in order to increase revenues with our products

Who you are

  • 1-2 years of relevant business-to-business sales or business development experience, preferably in a software company in an international environment
  • Relevant Bachelor or Master degree
  • Fluent English, written as well as spoken; additional languages are considered an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You thrive in a start-up environment, where you have much freedom and take ownership and responsibility
  • An excellent team player, but can also work independently
  • Passionate about video and the media industry
